The MetaIntegral Foundation's Fundraising process follows unique guidelines.

  1. The Power of We campaign starts and goes for 3 months: the MetaIntegral Community and various networks of individuals are engaged to raise money for either the whole portfolio of projects or specific projects. This is done with the understanding that some projects may not end up being funded and that money raised for those projects will be used to support projects being funded.
  2. At the end of the 3-month campaign the total amount raised during the campaign will be combined with the amount that the MetaIntegral Foundation has generated.
  3. If the total combined amount is less than the total amount requested by all the projects then all donors to MetaIntegral Foundation will be invited to vote for their top 5 project choices for being funded. The results of this voting will be used to determine which projects get funded. Grantees who have raised 50% of their requested funding will potentially receive additional funding based on the voting results.
  4. If Grant Finalists raise 50% or more of the total amount they have requested for their Project grant they have the option of taking that amount raised and applying it to their project. If the amount raised is determined by the project lead to not be enough to fund their project even partially or they don't raise 50% of the total amount then the funds will be used for the whole portfolio (this is a modified version of the all or nothing classic Kickstarter campaign approach).

There are hundreds of thousands of organizations doing good work. I've decided to support the MetaIntegral Foundation because I believe they are having real IMPACT in the world through the projects they fund. I invite you to join me in supporting social change projects that are having BIG impact!

One such project was the Integrally-Informed Leadership Development in Homeless Services. The National Center for Excellence in Homeless Services (NCEHS) received support from the MetaIntegral Foundation to create a Leadership Learning Community in partnership with NCEHS and homeless services leaders, and we look to continue this work with renewed grant support from the Foundation.

The Integrally-Informed Leadership Development in Homeless Services project supported leadership development among approximately 10 homeless services senior staff through a learning community and formal leadership training in Sonoma, Marin and Napa Counties in California. This includes modifying an existing leadership training curriculum to include the new Restorative Integral Support (RIS) model, highlighted in SAMHSA's Homelessness Resource Center, for a whole person/whole agency/whole community/whole system approach to address trauma and other challenges that play a role in homelessness.

NCEHS, sited at the University at Albany School of Social Welfare, involves a consortium of schools of social work focused on partnerships with local homeless service agencies and increased homelessness curricular content to better prepare students going into homeless services.

Directed by Heather Larkin, Associate Professor, NCEHS researches, creates, and teaches trauma-informed best practices to cost-effectively transform the lives of homeless children and adults. Heather Larkin has published extensively on issues related to homelessness and integral theory, with three articles in The Journal of Integral Theory and Practice. Founding Co-Director, John Records, who led COTS, Committee on the Shelterless, for 21 years, co-developed the RIS model with Heather Larkin.

Through your donation to the MetaIntegral Foundation, you will be supporting a portfolio of Integral projects. These projects are being lead by some of the world's top Integral thinkers, experts in their field, who are forging new pathways to solve seemingly complex social problems. Through their work, they are empowering the human family in the MOST compassionate, rational, and sustainable ways. Their projects cover a wide range of issues that span the Globe in fields such as Psychology and Spirituality, Leadership and Development, Business and Economics, Culture and Worldviews, Healthcare and Medicine, Ecology and Sustainability.

If we truly want to have real IMPACT in the world - we need to apply methods and principles that embrace a generous big-picture approach weaving together multiple perspectives in a comprehensive and inclusive way. Help us produce greater change, long-lasting change for a thriving civilization.

Just a small donation will go a long way in helping me meet my fundraising goal for the MetaIntegral Foundation.
